built on love

It was all a dream
What began as my husband's childhood memories on these docks became our chance to give those same moments to our own children. Six years ago, we purchased the marina, it had been left uncared for, partially underwater, and no longer usable. What once thrived as a working marina had slowly been neglected and forgotten. With three young boys by our side and a deep love for the river, we saw not what it was, but what it could become. Alongside a close friend who believed in the vision, we rolled up our sleeves and began the long, patient work of bringing it back to life. Every dock repaired, every inch restored, was done with intention: to honor the river, to revive a place that deserved a second chance, and to give our children a life rooted in nature, hard work, and the kind of memories only river days can create.
rise up
The marina sat beneath the water line, quiet, forgotten, left to the weather and wait. They said it washed away, too far gone to matter anymore. With muddy boots and helpful hands, we built up what had been left behind, not because it was easy, but because it was worth believing in.

live for the moment
At River Landing Marina, whether you're a guest or a marina customer, it is meant to be a place where time slows down, and the noise of the world fades away. A place to rest your body, reset your mind, and reconnect—with nature, with the people you love, and with yourself. Here, days are measured by sunsets instead of schedules, and moments are meant to be felt, not rushed.
down by the river
There was something about the marina—the calm, and the way everything felt a little lighter—that made me pause and think. What if this kind of magic didn’t have to end with us? And just like that, something small and special began to grow—made for the ones who needed a place to feel at home by the river, even if only for a night.
